• Dee Carson

    Board Secretary / Executive Director

Dee earned her BA in Theater and started an artistic career as an actor and choreographer with a repertory company in New England. Relocation to the West Coast necessitated a "day job" and Dee found her other passion in financial services where she enjoyed a 30+ year career helping organizations, associates and clients better manage their financial circumstances to reach their objectives. Dee joined NWAA in 2011 as a new board member, was elected President of the Board in 2012, and was appointed to the Executive Director position in 2014.

While she enjoys working on the potter's wheel and loves creating handwork, her true joy comes from working with the glazes. She describes her glazing style as "landscaping." Her glazing is what truly sets her work apart. She is excited to be the newest member of the Board.
