• Dee Carson

    Executive Director

Dee earned her BA in Theater and started an artistic career as an actor and choreographer with a repertory company in New England. Relocation to the West Coast necessitated a "day job" and Dee found her other passion in financial services where she enjoyed a 30+ year career helping organizations, associates and clients better manage their financial circumstances to reach their objectives. Dee joined NWAA in 2011 as a new board member, was elected President of the Board in 2012, and was appointed to the Executive Director position in 2014.
  • Cheryl Brown

    Board Member

Cheryl has always had a passion for the arts, as a collector, a former gallery owner, and a collage artist. Currently, she has a studio at Magnuson Park and enjoys presenting her work at local festivals throughout the year. She has a degree in Recreation Administration with a minor in Art from Eastern Washington University. She works full time for Seattle Parks and Recreation where she loves to plan programs and events for active adults age 50 and over. She is looking forward to bringing her creativity into program development for NWAA.
  • Kathleen Neely

Kathleen is a biologist who, between science classes, has spent a lot of time in the art studio learning silversmithing and painting. She spent several years doing local art fairs as a jeweler, emphasizing equine art, before deciding that she needed to spend more time with her living horse and folded up shop. Regardless, she remains active in the art community and hopes to assist NWAA by bringing artists and community together.
