Gregg Goolsby
Gregg developed an early love of art through his father who was an artist and taught him to draw and paint as a child. His mom imparted a love of the natural world and beautiful places, and he subsequently developed a fascination with photography as a means of capturing the splendor of landscapes and wildlife on our planet. Taking beautiful pictures became a passion and allowed him to share beauty during his many years of traveling on business during a demanding corporate career, while still dabbling in art with various mediums. He discovered the ancient art of encaustic painting in 2017 and developed a passionate focus on mastering the process of creating with wax. “I will never forget those early art lessons from my dad, and I find great joy in combining pigments, pan pastels, and watercolor along with encaustic media to create art inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us.” Gregg lives and creates in both Fall City, WA and Manzanita, OR and also owns a photography business: OSP Images, and you can find that at: https://www.ospimages.net/.
