Adventures influence my work. There, time stands still and one becomes connected to something larger than themselves. I like showcasing views of the everyday. I receive information from my surroundings. With representational work I achieve this from nature or those around me. With collage and mixed media I receive information from the materials. I select and organize the information. It becomes a connection and relationship between myself, my environment and others. As I paint I satisfy my impulses and make the mark that comes from within. I layer collage with mixed media, letting the marking actions transform my paintings. As the colors are placed next to each other they start to interact.
