Greg Prescott - Stonerock

I am a geologist turned artist. By drilling, polishing, and assembling all requisite components I craft technically advanced stone fountains that combine the basic elements of stone, water, and light, in a lively thought provoking display. The small Basalt Columns utilized in my features is an exceedingly rare form of one of the most common rock types present in the Earth's crust. For more than twenty years I quarried this beautiful and unusual stone in the Okanogan Highlands region here Washington State. This quarry is now permenantly closed and there is no other source of equivilent stone availble anywhere in the world. I also either build or alter to my own design and specifications all the components used in my features.
