Margarita Castillo-Bernard - Marca Fantasy Figurative Art

My work is reminiscent of the characters we see in stop motion animation movies. They are sculpted using mainly polymer clay and epoxy clay. Some parts are resin casts, also done by me such as the hands, feet and smaller items. Each character is unique based on original designs and executed without commercial molds or kits. The majority of them are costumed using recycled and natural fibers often hand dyed or felted. Their bodies are able to change positions. Subjects include woodland, industrial, goth, and seasonal themes.
