Michele Ballantyne Designs

I create large flowing works of art with wool and silk fibers of varying colors and textures, assembled bit by bit and brought together through the ancient technique of wet felting. The largest pieces are ready to hang unframed, and the smaller pieces are in shadowbox frames. My art reflects the contrasts and changeability of life through contrasting colors and textures as well as movement and flow in the art.
