The 37th Annual Best of the Northwest Spring Show returns April 11-12, 2026 at Hangar 30 in Seattle, celebrating the creativity and craftsmanship of more than 100 Pacific Northwest artists.
This vibrant art show brings together original work in painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass, fiber, and more - handmade pieces you won’t find anywhere else. Enjoy a Special exhibit by the Northwest Stone Sculptors Association, youth workshops and live demos. Stop for lunch at one of our locally based food, beverage or snack vendors!
It’s a chance to meet incredible artists, discover one-of-a-kind art, and experience Artists in Action that showcase the creative process. Whether you are searching for a statement piece, a meaningful gift, or simply an inspiring weekend outing, the Best of the Northwest show connects you to the region’s thriving arts community.

Special Exhibit by the Northwest Stone Sculptors Association
The Northwest Stone Sculptors Association returns as our featured exhibit with exceptional stone sculptures and live carving demonstrations. Larger works will be displayed in the gallery and main Hangar space.Free Youth Soapstone Carving Sessions
In addition to live carving demonstrations, youth-oriented soapstone carving sessions are scheduled, providing young visitors with the opportunity to explore their creativity under the guidance of experienced sculptors. Carving sessions are for ages 5-17 years old.
Accompanying parent or guardian is required to buy an entry ticket to the Spring Show. (Children 12 and under get free entry to the event). Session space is limited, registration is recommended! Please register only one class per child for the event. You may sign up on a waitlist for additional classes on-site.

Emerging Artist Program (Scholarship Program)
Emerging artists are the future of tomorrow’s art, but it’s not always an easy path. We designed our Emerging Artist Program (EAP) to help ease the journey from emerging artist to successful, experienced artist-business person.
The Emerging Artist Program supports new creative voices by providing mentorship and exhibition opportunities. Two selected artists will debut their work at the show. These EAP artists were selected and paired with a Northwest Art Alliance legacy artist who acts as a mentor for six weeks. The EAP artists are awarded a booth space free of charge and are eager to show their work for the first time at the Spring Show.
We encourage you to visit booths H1 and H2 to meet our EAP winners, painter Rachael Engell and ceramic artist Erica Duke. Please support these newcomers as they share their artistic journeys!

Artists in Action
Watch artists create in real time through live demonstrations, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their techniques and inspiration. Talk to artists like, Fiber Artist Kelly Conrad who was the winner of the People's choice award from the 2025 Best of the Northwest Fall show.
Community “Garden” Art Project
We’re creating a living artwork made by the community - one butterfly, bunny, or burst of imagination at a time! Visit the art board in the dining area. Pick up markers of any color, find your spot on the board, and add your own little spring-themed work of art. No wrong ideas or experience needed - just curiosity and a willingness to be creative. Anything spring-themed and family friendly is welcome. Watch the “garden” grow as hundreds of small drawings come together into one big, joyful masterpiece!
Food Vendors
Food options at the show come from Seattle-area small businesses offering casual and flavorful choices throughout the weekend. You can enjoy coffee and espresso drinks from Filter and Shot Coffee Company, freshly popped kettle corn from Simply Kettle Co, Eastern European-inspired bites from Slavic Bites, Asian comfort food from Nana's Bites, and seafood dishes from Finn Anthony's. Indoor dining space will be available with easy re-entry to the venue so you can relax, grab a meal, and return to exploring the show.
Volunteers Welcome
Volunteers are the heart of the Best of the Northwest shows and help make them possible by assisting with tasks like cashiering, booth sitting, event setup etc. Volunteers receive free entry to the show for the entire weekend.

Planning your visit
Free and ample parking is available at Magnuson Park. ADA parking is available in the front and back lots of Hangar 30. The Seattle Parks Department always suggests carpooling or using public transportation to offset carbon footprints. Only service animals are permitted in the hangar per City of Seattle ordinances.
