I use a vibrant palette of acrylic paint, oil sticks, and collage in my abstract paintings. Painting intuitively, I build up and scrape back layers to create rich textures. I am drawn to the juxtaposition between movement and stillness, combining dynamic areas with unassuming space. I’m inspired by shapes found in both natural and urban settings, and how time and weather affect them.
