My work consists of handcrafted crochet floral sculptures created using fine cotton and acrylic yarn, shaped with crochet hooks (approximately 1.8-2.0 mm) to achieve delicate detail and structure. Each flower is individually stitched and assembled by hand, with attention to texture, form, and color harmony. I incorporate floral wire and wire armatures to support stems and petals, allowing the pieces to hold naturalistic shapes while remaining lightweight and durable. Some elements are reinforced with floral tape and simple hand-assembly techniques to create bouquet-style arrangements. The overall process blends traditional crochet methods with sculptural floral design, resulting in long-lasting botanical forms that reinterpret natural flowers through fiber art.
