Woolfoo Studio

Woolfoo Studio - Bingyi Li

My work is created using traditional needle felting and wet felting techniques, working directly with natural wool fibers. Through repeated compression and layering, loose wool is shaped by hand into sculptural forms, allowing me to build structure, texture, and fine surface detail without the use of molds or mass-production methods.

Each piece begins with an initial concept inspired by animals, natural landscapes, and small narrative moments. I then construct the base form through needle felting, gradually refining proportions and adding layers of color and texture.
