Elles Beads - Ellen Harbison

I make lampworked glass beads to be used as handles for functional objects. The kitchen utensils are salad servers, coffee scoops, canapé knives, heart spoons. Office items are letter openers and magnifying glasses. I love making simple, clean earrings out of thin large hole beads. I use a surface mis torch to create the beads. The complexity of my beads have evolved and it’s a joy to work on new designs. I used Italian, German & American glass. Every beads is property kiln annealed for strength and durability. Melting glass, playing with fire and creating unique pieces of glass art, is my happy place.
