Her Creation Station

Her Creation Station - Pam Miles

Pamela Miles is a geometric folk artist writing in wax and symmetry - reviving ancient art forms for modern souls. Her handwritten geometric folk art is inspired by ancient symbols, storytelling, and tradition -with the hope for peace, mindfulness, and connection to those who encounter these unique mediums. Pam's primary current mediums include pysanky & batik eggs, and colored pencil mandalas.

Pam's pysanky (also known as Ukrainian eggs) and batik eggs (contemporary designs & mandalas) are made using real eggs, from chicken to ostrich size, melted beeswax for masking the colors, and aniline dyes for color. Each layer of beeswax and dye is applied to the egg shell and then melted off at the final stage and then varnish sealed.
Pam's colored pencil mandala drawings are done with compass and ruler on paper. No AI used. Her creativity of combining tradition and whimsical nature images are intended to bring joy and calm.
