Everett Glassworks - Emmanuel Aguilera-Santos
All of my work is created using both traditional and contemporary glassworking techniques to produce either solid or hollow sculptures. Molten glass is gathered from the furnace, shaped with hand tools, and worked hot through processes including blowing, sculpting, and forming. Depending on the piece, individual components may be created separately, assembled, and carefully annealed to relieve internal stress. Color is incorporated directly into the glass during the making process.
