Inspired by my study and love of physics, astronomy, math and geology, I create unique and wearable art pieces that suggest the dynamics of cosmological events, the history of geologic activity, or demonstrate basic natural principles. Using texturing techniques such as hammering, reticulation, cuttlefish casting, and water casting, and adding highly figured stones that tell geological stories, I aim for a rough, organic abstraction that balances the formal influence of the underlying science.
