I am a fiber artist that uses silk vintage kimono fabrics as a medium to create articles of clothing. I start by acquiring kimono fabrics, disassembly, working in pallets of color, machine sewing, and ending in hand sewing sometimes embellishing with antique buttons and handknotted ties. I make one-of-a-kind articles of clothing such as jackets, scarves, hair knots, vest, and tunics. Each and every article of clothing in my booth is made by me from start to finish.
