I use paint and paper to create my artwork. I don’t draw the composition but see it in my head, then find or create the papers I need to execute my vision. I paint and monoprint various found papers, as needed. While I do use magazine paper in some pieces, I never use magazine images, merely colors or textures. I use scissors to cut each piece by hand. While composing a piece, I use an art glue stick to tack things into place. Once I'm satisfied with the image, I use multiple coats of gel medium to glue everything in place. I add UV varnish to some pieces depending on the color of the found papers.
