Sarah Dalton - Simply Images

The common theme throughout this submission is birds. In the past year, I have focused on improving my bird photography, painting birds in both realistic and abstract styles, incorporating birds into encaustic pieces, creating ceramic collages, and using sea glass, porcelain bits, and stones to create bird vignettes. These diverse artistic techniques enable me to portray birds in the multifaceted way they exist in our world. For example, through mixed media, I depict surreal images such as a heron fishing on a foggy morning, while my photography captures the fine details of a majestic eagle.
