Lindsey Fox

Using patterns inspired by nature, I balance abstraction with landscape. I love to explore wild places, and communicate the awe and wonder that I experience in the backcountry. Painting outside is important to my practice; it serves as a way for me to collect the textures, colors and compositions of the world around me. I then bring my outdoor studies into the studio to finalize and create
abstract interpretations. One of my goals is to bring the viewer on a hike with me. I want you to notice the patterns, the textures, the perspective, and the color relationships. I'm communicating what I both feel and see.
