I create abstract, mixed media watercolor paintings inspired by natural forms. Working intuitively, each piece develops one layer at a time, allowing the flow of watercolor to guide the composition. Layered washes build depth and movement, while techniques such as salt, bubbles, and alcohol create organic, unpredictable textures. Many works evolve to include pen and ink, adding intricate linework, pattern, and detail. The balance between spontaneous watercolor and precise mark-making allows structure and fluidity to coexist.
