Russ Riddle - Camano Island Woodworks

I am a one man studio, and I design and craft unique furniture from wood. Many of my designs feature nature themes, often created with the help of marquetry or inlay. I also do parquetry pieces (geometric designs) and sometimes pieces with shaped or carved elements. These too have a nature element, although it may be obscure to most observers. Most of my pieces utilize highly figured wood (such as quilted and curly maple, curly walnut, ribbon striped and pomelle sapele. I use both hand tools and machines and do all finishing myself.
