Terry Alexander - Sad Life of the Satellite

The pieces and concepts I have conjured over the years are understood by many who are or have been affected by traumatic events in life. Some of which consist of depression, anxiety, addiction, RECOVERY, hope, and self awareness. My art, though dark in nature, is meant to inspire a message of hope that although existence can be confusing, stressful, sad, grief stricken, etc, there is a path and to always hold on because that pain eventually ends or become manageable. Life is a wonderful gift to share. The good and the bad. My medium is oil paint on canvas. I attempt to articulate feelings and emotions by capturing them in the form of a painting. What some refer to as “random” or “dark”, is abstract and honest reality.
