At Scarabajo, I work with natural fibers like silk, cotton, and wool, combining eco-printing, natural dyeing, and sewing to create one-of-a-kind botanical pieces. Using leaves, flowers, and plant-based dyes, I bundle and steam or simmer the fabrics, allowing nature to imprint its shapes and colors. Each piece is then carefully sewn into wearable or functional art. This slow process honors plant chemistry, fiber alchemy, and craftsmanship - each creation is truly unique.
