I have a commitment to producing finely crafted garments that celebrate artisan fashion through an appreciation of textiles, craft and contemporary style. The work is produced in small editions or as one-of-a-kind garments. I am inspired by fashion and costume history and the influence architecture has on clothing design. My garments incorporate hand-dyed silk, linen, cotton and wool fabrics that are pieced together, often in multiple layers, with exposed seams and elaborately embroidered details throughout the object. Fabrics are chosen for their special textures, patterns and colors that inspire the concept of each piece. I personally design, cut and sew each piece in my studio creating custom tailored clothing with exceptional comfort and fit.
