Veronique Loggins

Veronique Loggins - WabiSabiEtc

I am an artist designer with a BFA and 58 yrs. of experience being an accomplished seamstress, fabric is my chosen medium. I source Japanese kimono fabrics from Japan and use American vintage textiles from my own collection. I carefully launder and organize them into color pallets, and from these pallets, I intuitively envision each design, letting the fabric guide the creative process. My technique involves precise cutting followed by sewing with a serger and a straight stitch, finally hand-finishing every detail. Each piece is crafted entirely by me from start to finish resulting in one-of-a-kind garments that blend history, sustainability and contemporary fashion. My goal is to transform repurposed fabrics into wearable art fashion that is both inventive and deeply connected to its past while embracing the present through thoughtful craftsmanship.
