My technique has developed through spending time in nature, seeking to capture the energy and spirit of a bird in its place. I carve my images into a material called Safety-kut. After carving a block I print the image in black ink. Prints are hand-pulled on Rives BFK paper. Once dry I apply layers of transparent water color. Each print is a unique original.
