I'm Swati Choudhury, a mandala artist based in Bellevue. My artistic journey is an exploration of the captivating world of mandalas, a traditional art-form from Asia. I'm intrigued by the intricate patterns & symmetry of Mandalas. I draw inspiration from my emotions & memories of people, places and experiences and to convey my ideas. I like to create mandalas with the timeless elegance of Indian aesthetics, incorporating elements like flowers, leaves, fractals, and henna designs. Nature has been a cherished muse since childhood, breathes life into my creations, inspired by my mother's traditional rangoli art. Using archival pens and acrylics on mediums like paper, wood, canvas, and wall murals. As an introvert and emotionally sensitive individual, mandala art is more than a medium; it's my expression, a journey of self-discovery. Lost in thought and submerged in a state of flow and zen, I invite you to explore my emotions through my Art and experience the tranquility of the mandalas.
