Sarah Robison Art

I create my art with alcohol inks using primarily air to move the inks and form the compositions. The combination of this medium and technique allows a level of unpredictability and chaos into the process. Instead of controlling each detail of the painting, it is more of a conversation or dance, where I must make quick, intuitive decisions and respond to how the inks are naturally moving, flowing, and drying to achieve the desired outcome. Each piece is inspired by the beauty and chaos of nature, and is meant to soothe and intrigue the viewer.
